Neve Elements is a pioneering range of software-controlled Neve audio processors, placing true analogue musicality back into the box. Neve Elements is an ideal standalone system and can work independently from the 8424E. Controllable by the dedicated Neve Elements Plugin and App, Neve Elements means your Neve is no longer defined by where the hardware is, and your system can be wherever you want to work.

8424E – 24 Channel Resettable Console

The 8424E is a 24 channel, international standard, resettable console, powered by Neve Elements and built to a breakthrough price. Based on the 8424’s modern 80-series sound, the 8424E is available with your choice of EQ and Dynamics through the Neve Elements Range: 88REQ, 88R Dynamics and 1084EQ.

For existing 8424 console owners, there is a seamless upgrade path to 8424E, placing your console at the heart of an immensely flexible ecosystem designed to evolve as your projects change, your clients change and your ambitions change.

All Resettable.

The 8424E is an international standard, fully resettable console, engineered entirely in the UK by generations of Neve Engineers, alongside the iconic, large format 88RS3. A Marinair transformer coupled stereo mix bus derived from the iconic 80 series consoles delivers the legendary Neve sound on every mix. Twenty-four channels, four mono groups, and 48 mix capability give this small format desk the routing and summing potential of something far larger.

Powered by Neve Elements, the 8424E gives you the freedom to choose your flavour of EQ and dynamics in any combination, tailored to your studio workflow.

This modular approach builds on the original 8424 concept of housing 1073 preamps externally to the console, allowing you to specify a system that suits your projects, your clients and your budget.

Elements integrate seamlessly with the 8424 console through analogue insert send and return pathways. Each Elements unit features an intelligent insert matrix, enabling you to integrate your favourite outboard equipment with Elements and the 8424E console while preserving your core 8424 signal flow.

8424 E Upgrades and Upgrade Path

The E-Controller places your existing desk into the centre of the Elements ecosystem, adding two digitally controlled 500-series VCA compressors into the heart of the console, and providing seamless remote control of every connected Element processor at your fingertips.

The Elements Upstand Screen, mounted to the console top trim highlights individual Elements processors, providing instant visual feedback of every processor you own in your ecosystem. The Upstand Screen combines with the E-Controller to give you instant, intuitive command over your studio – meaning you never have to leave the sweet spot whilst making music.
