The M-1620 Pro D converts 16 analog line levels to and from digital sources can be separate Coax and SFP MADI, ADAT or Dante.
In addition two headphone outputs provide monitoring outputs. Everything into a single height 19″ rack device with newly designed front panel combining individual level meters with display.
A much-needed addition to immersive audio installations, but also a versatile extension to any audio network. All devices come equipped with a range of advanced features.
Two network ports provides redundancy or enables daisy-chaining within the same network.
Word Clock BNC and coaxial MADI connectors are built in, and optical MADI can be added with an optional SFP module making it ideal for applications that require high channel counts at high sampling rates.
Channels from both MADI ports can be individually routed to and from Dante.
Dante connectivity was a frequent request and has been integrated to run natively on the M-1620 Pro hardware.
It provides direct connectivity to other audio devices via standard switches and allows users to directly record and play back up to 64 channels from their computer to any of the M-1620’s analog and digital I/O using Audinate’s Dante Virtual Soundcard (license not included).
Each device reveals its status and con gurable options to ATDECC controllers on the network, allowing it to be integrated into time aware systems using the open IEEE 1722.1 standard.
Control all device states directly via the 2.54″ TFT screen from the front panel for convenient, direct access to all features.
The integrated routing matrix allows for quick routing of any analog inputs straight to the headphone output, as well as all digital
signals and network streams. As such, problem-solving of signals, clocking, connectivity or other issues is both simple and straight-forward!
